The best of the very best raw materials
Yerra handpicks high quality hides and furs from exclusive suppliers from all over the world. Yerra's craftsmen pay extreme attention to the characteristics of each hide or fur: it's flexibility, smoothness, shine and scent. In the end, only one third of high quality raw material is selected to be used. The selected hides and furs then undergo several processes to strengthen their natural qualities, extending their durability.
Contemporary design meets innovation
Yerra regularly partners with international designers who not only provide vibrant designs but also push the boundaries of art, materials and technology. This collaboration lead -for example- to the introduction over 10 years ago of the technique of applying complex patterns on hides by using laser technology.
Handcrafted, any size, totally made to order
Yerra's rugs are made to satisfy the needs and custom specifications of our clients. The client may order any size, color and finish. Once the order is placed, Yerra's craftsmen select the perfect hides and furs for each design to assure homogenous and well defined colors and hair. The rugs undergo a strict quality control in which experts examine the width of each stitch, the color and direction of the hair among other details.
Environmentally Friendly
All natural hides and furs used by Yerra are a sub-product of the meat industry and are sourced from suppliers whocomply with environmental regulations in all aspects.
